MIKE BATTERY 4TH REGIMENT
ROYAL CANADIAN HORSE ARTILLERY

BELT COLOURS - red, blue, yellow and green

OTHER INFORMATION

This belt is from the mid-1960s and shows the pattern used by 4RCHA. Each Battery had a different colour skirt on their director stands (used for aligning the guns) - the first battery's was white, 2nd orange, 3rd green and 4th light blue. The battery belts reflected this by taking the standard pattern artillery belt and splitting the central yellow stripe. A new stripe in the battery's colour was added between the two yellows. Mike Battery was third in 4RCHA and thus had the green central stripe. HQ battery used the colour yellow, resulting in a wider than usual yellow stripe on their belts.
