CAN YOU HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS MYSTERY STABLE BELT?
CLUES
The colours are red and dark green, of equal width (not sure of correct way up).
This belt has a central metal plate, which should hold a regimental badge.
SUGGESTIONS
Possibly may belong to Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadian) ..............
RESPONSE: "This belt does have our Regiment's facings: Myrtle Green and Scarlet Red. However, the stable belt worn by our mounted troop is different in appearance"..............

These are also the colours of the Bermuda Regiment (once Bermuda Rifles until 1965)
The mystery red and green belt shown under June 2006 is a London dealer's 'put together' for the French Foreign Legion and was on sale at Charing Cross in about 1984. The silver plate had a 2 REP Para beret badge attached to it. It was never worn by the Legion.
