MYSTERY BELTS - JUNE 2008

CAN YOU HELP TO IDENTIFY
THIS MYSTERY STABLE BELT?

Below - more examples 10cms wide and with the same sliding buckle. Where are they from?

    SUGGESTIONS

  • The bottom two appear to possibly be an early RAVC? and a faded RAMC?
  • They are probably for the ‘Staff Band’ of the respective Corps. I have an RA one.
  • The lower two belts certainly are RAVC and RAMC colours but I have never seen a buckle like that and the RAVC belt combination is now no longer like that. I do know that the RAMC Band had a buckle similar to that in the 1960s so perhaps it is a band belt.
