CAN YOU HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS MYSTERY STABLE BELT?
CLUES
Colours are black, yellow and red
Three equal width horizontal stripes

South African Defence Force Military Police
Although the South African Military Police belts do have these colours, my information is that the red stripe is on top, not the black one. See the attached chart that details the original design colours for the belts. I have seen some belts with the colours reversed but it was later shown that the belts had been mis-assembled - the buckles do not attach permanently to the belt and it is easy to change them around. Also, while some few units in the SADF/SANDF had the traditional two-strap style of belt, the various corps all wore the large front buckle type.
